The Metravi CAL-404-4 mV mA RTD Calibrator is a multifunctional device used in industrial automation and process control to simulate and measure signals for testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting equipment such as transmitters, controllers, and sensors.

It generates precise millivolt signals to simulate inputs for devices like temperature transmitters and measures millivolt outputs to verify device accuracy.
It is useful for calibrating devices with thermocouple inputs. It simulates current signals to test and calibrate devices such as controllers and actuators and measures current signals to diagnose issues in current loops.
It also simulates resistance to mimic an RTD sensor for testing RTD transmitters and control systems and supports RTD/ PT-100 type thermocouples, with different temperature ranges.
