Description

The Metravi CAL-408 RTD Calibrator is high precision simulator for simulation of PT100 Indicators/Controllers and is useful for checking and calibrating all RTD instruments. It covers the general operating range of Pt100 with 16 calibration points. Outputs are available at -200, -100, -50, -25, 0, 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 °C

Basically a RTD (resistance temperature detector) is a temperature sensor that operates on the measurement principle that a material’s electrical resistance changes with temperature and the Metravi CAL-408 RTD Calibrator works on similar principles.

The Metravi CAL-408 RTD Calibrator is small in size and easy to use. It has been especially designed for field use and is used wherever measuring and controlling instruments have to be calibrated and tested with better accuracy, such as in the food industry, medical science, steel industry, sugar industries, cement industries Testing Labs etc.
There is no need to use any reference temperature table. The resistance values required for simulation are directly set in degree celsius.
